Jade and Lester get it
started right with a marathon
staff day in Portland
on July 1st. They will
be sharing their crazy
style with workshops on
single staff, double staves,
and contact staff. Our
resident Groove Girls,
Kamala and Hannah will
get everyone fired up
the next day with workshops
in poi and hoop. Then
it's home to Eugene. We've
got an amazing day lined
up for July 7th. We start
the day off with Kamala
and Hannah working their
groove with a beginning
hoop class followed by
part 1 of the intermediate
poi workshops. Lester
and Jade then step in
to teach part 2 of the
poi workshops before moving
on to an all styles staff
class to finish off our
time at the Dojo. After
the sunset we move to
an outdoor location where
the girls will instruct
on the fine arts of fire
eating and fire painting.

Our breakdown glow staves
are perfect for travel
and storage! Each staff
contains 2 bright LEDs
(one at each end), has
soft ball-ends (made of
the same material as our
glow poi), and consists
of 3 pieces; two ends
and a center section that
easily breaks down and
slides back together.
The length of the staff
can be adjusted from 4
feet to 5 1/2 feet giving
you the ability to experiment
with different sizes.

staff comes pre-loaded
with the following batteries

Rocking
the Rope Dart!
Thanks to everyone for making
the first round of Rope Dart
classes a rocking good time.
And don't worry all you people
who missed it, we are planning
on another round after we return
from our mini tour of Oregon.
We'll start mid July working
on extended wraps, tie-ups,
multiple direction stalls and
shots during the next four week
session with the possibility
of an advanced rope dart class
to follow. I'm really enjoying
teaching this great form of
movement and I hope you'll join
me. These classes are being
planned for our North Hollywood
studio but if there is enough
involvement we could do classes
at another location as well.
